Have We Set Goals and Expectations of Ourselves?

Or, do we spend our spare time watching others from reality television live out their dreams and achieve their goals?

The average American watches close to five hours of televisions per day, totaling about 35/hours a week, which is a full-time job.

If we dedicate 15/minutes per day (totaling 1.75 hours weekly) on ourselves and staying consistent, we could grow, learn, become more confident, develop new skills and accomplish the goals we set for ourselves.

Let’s try to develop by:

  • Staying focused on our goals. Write the goals down, type them, visualize the goals, make them explicit.
  • Believing in you, know it is possible, feel the goal materialize.
  • Being patient with the growth process and DON’T GIVE UP if the goal does not metalize over days or weeks.

We have developed false expectations on receiving success because of how quickly we receive some things in life. We could place an order on Amazon and get the next day or within the week, and this is not a true reflection because success does not happen overnight.

  • Delete the false sense of instant gratification and replace it with knowing everything you have accomplished at this point in life took time and patience.
  • Visualize ways of having a better financial situation and not complaining about what you do not have.
  • Do away with conversations on how stressful life is and focus on handling life situations as they come with KNOWING YOU GOT THIS!

We get exactly what we focus on and place our attention on, as I have said in previous blogs, so let’s continue to work and grow together.

We are stronger together. How will you rise? I am here and listening.
