Over the years, we have experienced several chapters in life.
The chapter of being born into the world, going to preschool, elementary school, middle school, high school, and college was challenging.
Let’s pause a moment and think back to the ages at the time and the growth from each chapter.
We had our parents, teachers, mentors, and friends to help us transition from one chapter to the next, which was not easy, and we survived.
Another chapter began after college, landing our first job, losing a job, ending a relationship, dating again, marriage, kids, divorce, becoming a single mom, and so on.
We experienced challenges with each chapter in life, and we continued living and surviving despite the hardships we faced.
Some of the chapters in our lives were hurtful, shameful and we did not think we would survive, yet we did.
2020 was a year of agony dealing with COVID 19, experiencing sickness, losing loved ones, feeling fearful, anxious, unsure, and job loss and we learned to cope. We had doctors, family, friends, and counselors to help us deal with the challenges. Another chapter we survived.
We all are experiencing another chapter together, which is learning to leave 2020 behind.
All of us are focusing on a better year, becoming stronger mentally, physically, and happier.
LET’S try:
- Leaving the negative self-talk, bad relationships, negative people, and negative mental experiences behind us as we leave 2020 behind.
- Minimizing the negative conversations about others and focusing on the importance of transforming our own lives to becoming better than ever.
- Changing the mindset by making a plan to achieve the goals.
The more we communicate positively about others, the better we will feel about ourselves, and the more energy we will have, and the happier we will be.
