It could be because we never learned to release the painful experiences stored in our hearts which hindered us from fully accepting all the good the universe put in front of us.
I was speaking with a young lady in her twenties about her vacation and the conversation lead to a particular experience she had in grade school. She was bullied because she wore glasses and the pain and insecurities from that experience were very much alive in her heart today. She also had braces and was a little chubby. Kids called her four eyes and teased her by asking her constantly “just how blind are you?” They would remove her glasses from her face, taunt her, and make fun of her by asking if she could see them.
They thought it was funny. Yet, she was horrified but pretended she could see and went alone with the game to be accepted.
It did not matter what she did to be accepted because she showed her vulnerability to the bullies and they continued using her weakness to make them feel confident and in control.
Let’s learn to remove the pain by creating new experiences.
- Let’s feel the pain, remember the pain, accept the pain, cry and LET IT GO because we will not ALLOW that pain TO OWN us.
- Let’s remove the attachments from the experience – release, release, release, create a new picture and feel the love around you, the joy around you, and accept the control stored within.
- Life is challenging enough for us, FOCUS on the NOW!
We have to delete the old pictures we continue to review and take new pictures of the experience we want to create.
We are stronger together. How will you rise? I am here and listening.

I try and let the pain go but constantly see the person who caused the pain so how do I focus on the now?
Thanks for your question. I will elaborate on my next post. Your question is asked often and requires more than a quick reply.
