Per my last blog, thoughts release energy, which equals manifestation. Focusing and visualizing the outcome is vital to staying on track for 2024.
- What are you seeking or want to happen in 2024?
- What steps are you currently taking to achieve what you want?
- How much effort are you willing to invest in the search?
- How are you prioritizing?
Take a moment to grab some paper and a pen to answer the following questions. Think and reflect on the response to initiate a shift in the mindset and actions to begin and sustain the transformation process. Fold the paper into three sections to answer the questions.
Reflecting on 2023: We reflect on the past, not to dwell on it but to learn, grow, move forward, and reach higher heights.
- What were your accomplishments? What efforts, investments, and time were required to attain this success? What emotions drove you to make the achievements tangible?
- What were some of your failures? A few examples to get the mind thinking are losing money, not getting an A or B, not getting accepted in a group or being accepted, having a bad performance review, getting fired, and so on.
- What were your happiest moments? You may have completed a difficult task or stuck with a workout routine releasing dopamine and serotonin, which are associated with the happy hormone, and so on.
Take some time to review your answers to the above questions.
- What were some of the obstacles that presented themselves?
- Identify the strengths, weaknesses, and similarities.
- Compare the responses to questions one, two, and three.
- Consider other methods that could have worked better.
- Create new steps to continue your 2024 journey and success.
This exercise is beneficial to staying on track and accomplishing 2024 goals.
It is important to be realistic about the expectations and to understand no one is perfect, not even the individuals you have convinced yourself are flawless and beautiful. Value yourself, practice self-love, accept your flaws, and remember it is okay to have a bad day or know things will not go as planned. You can ALWAYS PICK yourself up and START AGAIN. Deciding to start and going through with the plan is a success.
Practicing Daily Gratitude is crucial as it shifts the mind towards acknowledging what you are currently content with. It helps you appreciate what you have and attracts more of what you want.
Try keeping a journal for two weeks where you jot down things you are grateful for and observe the shift in the mindset. Notice your feelings before writing down what you are thankful for and your feelings after writing down your appreciation; this exercise can move your brain into a more positive and receptive state.
Practicing Genuine Kindness towards others can increase feelings of happiness, emotional warmth, and satisfaction while reducing social anxiety. Giving back and helping others can give the soul a sense of fulfillment, purpose, and joy. It can create a profound connection, fostering empathy with others and the world.
Take a moment to close your eyes and imagine the happiness brought by a child, a loved one, or anyone who has positively impacted your life. Notice the bodily sensations, the smile from the memories, and the shift in -energy the thoughts bring.
Practicing Compassion can bring about numerous benefits. It can help improve relationships with others, foster a sense of connectedness, reduce stress and anxiety, and contribute to an overall sense of well-being and fulfillment. It can also lead to a greater understanding of others and yourself by positively impacting mental and emotional health.
How can gratitude, kindness, and compassion contribute to your 2024 goals, achievements, and successes?
These practices can help,
- Maintain a positive mindset.
- Improve resilience and overall well-being.
- Enhances leadership abilities.
- Fosters deep connections with others, and provides a space for understanding.
For example, in the context of weight loss, practicing gratitude and kindness can help you set specific, achievable milestones and dates for your weight loss journey, creating a mindset for success.
Similarly, in pursuing a new job or increased income, these practices can instill an appreciation of what you currently have and help you specify your future desires.
My greatest passion lies in helping everyone who is willing and prepared to bring out their best.
Sometimes, it takes someone to help you understand the importance of achieving your goals, believing in yourself, and recognizing that it does not matter how many times you fail; all that truly matters is YOUR ABILITY TO GET BACK UP EACH TIME, doubling your efforts to accomplish everything you desire.
In 2024, keep striving to achieve your goals because believing in yourself and knowing you can do it makes everything possible. We all need someone to assist, lift us up, and support us in reaching the next level. I am your teammate.
Strive to give your best effort in everything you do, from making your bed, washing and folding clothes, being a team player at work or in sports, and being a good friend. Be kind to yourself and others, and be open to learning and growing through the highs and lows of the journey.
